CARROTS AREN'T JUST FOR RABBITS!

Updated: Apr 2, 2022

Eat carrots? Well, if you do, it's good news!

Research from a Belgium University shows that carrots are rich in important prebiotics that feed our gut's probiotics.

Probiotics produce many nutrients our body needs and health researchers have been studying them for over three decades. Many diseases have been associated with a deficiency of these healthy gut microbes.

The same research found that carrots contain a gut-friendly prebiotic which nourished several probiotics, producing compounds that may help protect the gut from colon cancer among other benefits.

So try to fit 3-4 carrots into your diet each week to help your body get the nutrients it needs!
